- Job Duties:
- Workers will drive tractors to prepare fields for planting, work planted fields, and harvest sod on a sod farm. General farm labor such as cleaning equipment, minor repair and maintenance of farm equipment and vehicles, cleaning shop, shop yard, house, house yard and keeping sod fields free of debirs, some shovel and drainage work, irrigation duties when needed, as well as any other general labor duties that may arise in the operation of a sod farm. Workers may be drug tested post hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and to keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties and may be exposed to dangerous wildlife, such as snakes, spiders, etc. Workers must follow all safety and work rules.
