Job Duties:

Workers will assist with a range of general farm labor tasks involved in grain farming operations over approximately 10,500 acres. Duties include operating tractors, combines, and sprayers to perform planting, spraying, and harvesting activities. Workers will haul grain to and from bins and elevators, apply fertilizers and agricultural chemicals, and assist with the preparation and maintenance of farm equipment to ensure efficient operation throughout the season. Tasks may require the use of both manual labor and advanced agricultural machinery. Training will be provided on-site; no previous experience is required. Additional general farm labor may include cleaning, repairing, or maintaining farm structures and equipment. Workers may also be required to assist with field preparation activities such as tilling, seeding, and chemical applications under supervision. Workers must be able to follow safety guidelines and operate machinery responsibly.

Special Requirements:

No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level I Entry Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level I Entry Level, indicating that the job requires limited experience and routine supervision consistent with entry-level duties. The employer reserves the right to withhold the applicable housing deduction as permitted under program regulations, when approved and disclosed in the job order.
