Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Workers will participate in all aspects of hay production including operation of trucks, tractors, skid steer loaders for harvesting hay; operating irrigation equipment for watering crops; workers will engage in spraying, fertilizing, cutting, and baling of multiple varieties of grasses, wheat, and sorghums; gathering, stacking and transporting of baled hay; operation, maintenance and repair of irrigation equipment and farm machinery; feeding, watering, vaccinating and general care of cattle, as well as repairs, assembly and maintenance of corrals, fencing, and watering facilities; calving cows and heifers in spring, weaning calves in the fall, sorting and selling calves in early winter; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.

- Special Requirements:
- Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
