Job Duties:
We farm around 3000 acres barley, alfalfa, grass, oats, straw, and corn. We need employees to assist with cutting, bailing of these crops. We also green chop the corn. We need employees to assist with all aspects of growing these crops including but not limited to mowing, swathing, raking, baling, irrigating and spraying. Employees will need to operate farm equipment such as tractors with implements to complete these duties. Employees will need to haul and stack bales. Employees will need to repair and replace fence during the summer months. Checking irrigation systems everyday make sure they are working, and sprinklers are spraying, and complete maintenance on irrigation system. Employees will also be required to combine crops and drive trucks to haul crops from field to storage. Employees must be able to drive farm truck. Will need to do fall ground preparation including discing, ripping, and plowing. Employees will need to drive grain carts during harvest season and blow off combines and tractors daily during harvest. Employees will be required to complete general farm duties as assigned including lawn mowing and watering lawn. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may, at its sole discretion, provide pay increases based on longevity or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Job requires extensive sitting. Employer will conduct post-hire random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
