Job Duties:

We farm 8,000 acres of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa where most of our acres are under circle pivots. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of growing the crops starting with disking, planting, cultivating, filling pivot tracks, irrigating, etc. Employees will also need to cut alfalfa with a swather, raking and baling alfalfa, and haul grain with a truck to storage. Employees will also need to rake and bale stover, handle miscellaneous repairs and keep equipment clean. Complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
