Job Duties:

We are a family farm operation and we farm 1800-acres of soybeans and 1000-acres of corn. We irrigate most of our crops. We need seasonal employees to assist with preparing equipment for the season, assist with all aspects of growing these crops including tilling, planting, spraying, harvesting, and hauling. Employees will need to service irrigation equipment as needed and monitor irrigation equipment. Operate a grain cart and drive a semi-truck. Employees will also need to operate tractors to mow farm ditches. Complete other farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment, tractors, irrigation equipment and farm trucks to name a few. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at their previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, sitting, repetitive movements, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
