- Job Duties:
- Dakota Harvest LLC consists of several thousand acres of no-till wheat, corn and soybeans located in east central South Dakota. We need seasonal employees to assist with all aspects of planting, growing, spraying, harvesting, and hauling these crops. Duties will include but not limited to operating farm machinery from planting to harvesting to raise crops. Which may include tilling, planting, rock picking, spraying, harvesting, and transporting seed and fertilizer from farm to fields during planting and hauling crops from field to farm storage locations. Will need to operate self-propelled combine. Employees will need to operate self-propelled sprayer and load sprayer. Must complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment including general lubrication, service (Check Fluids), and incidental repair to equipment and vehicles We need employees to stay into December to strip till and do fall chemical application after the harvest is finished.. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.

- Special Requirements:
- Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
