Job Duties:

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operators such as: Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as stacking, sorting, cleaning; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as sprayer, harvester, swather, baler, strippers, boll buggies, cotton module trucks, module builders, etc., tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray, measure out and administer tank mixes, appropriately calculate and set application rates, apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and application of pesticides and fertilizers, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery and harvest crops such as hay, wheat, sorghum, cotton; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping. Must be able to speak and understand English.

Special Requirements:

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
