Job Duties:
Prepare, operate and maintain farm equipment to plant, irrigate, fertilize, spray, and harvest forage and grain crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools or farm workers. Calve out calves during the calving period. Care for nursing mothers, vaccinate and treat sickness. Move and process cattle. Repair and maintain fence. General shop work, farm maintenance and related duties pertaining to farming operations such as maintaining pivot irrigation tracks and equipment, greasing equipment, and maintaining farm structures. Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English.
