Job Duties:
The Farmworker position is seasonal position based on our sod farm, fruit tree, Christmas tree, pumpkin, and vegetable growing/harvest season. The Farmworkers will perform any combination of the following duties in connection with nursery related work: assist with irrigation installment of property for soil and preparation for planting; prepare soil and growth media, cultivate, prune, and otherwise participate in horticulture activities; operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to grow and harvest nursery stock, plants, and trees; haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, etc. to condition land; tie, bunch, wrap and pack shrubs, and trees; harvest full-grown crops requiring digging, balling, laying sod, and heavy lifting; mix chemical solutions, such as fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides and spray plants. Additional job duties may include weeding, harvesting, and packing fruits and vegetables for shipment or sales. Farmworkers may also assist with repairing fences and farm equipment when needed.

Special Requirements:
Work in all weather conditions. Random drug testing may be required post-hire to US and non-US workers at employer expense for safety of workers and patrons. Ability to lift 80lbs. The employer assures that workers hired under this order who will be handling pesticides will be provided appropriate training. Hours may vary based on weather and crop conditions. Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
