Job Duties:

Duties may include: Work with a crew to plant, spray, weed, water, fertilize, prune plants, shrubs and trees using appropriate nursery hand tools and power equipment in field, container or environmentally controlled structures to produce, prepare, select, and harvest tree and shrub crops for market. Work involves all aspects of tree and shrub production and may include propagation of plants from cuttings. Prepare and mix propagation and production growing media mixes. Assist with maintenance of equipment used in relation to the job & other related Nursery Workers activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.

Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.
