- Job Duties:
- Calve out calves during the calving season. Medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Care for newborn calves and nursing mothers. Isolate sick calves. Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul grain, soybean and sunflower crops. Transport hay. Service farming equipment and make infield repairs. General farm upkeep duties such as facility maintenance, repairing and maintaining fencing, and shop work. Winterize farming equipment at the end of the season.
