Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Dig, rake and prepare beds for planting. Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, peat moss and various other soil conditioners using wheelbarrows. Plant, spray, weed, fertilize and water shrubs, trees and other plants utilizing basic hand tools. Dig, cut and transplant seedlings, cuttings, trees and shrubs. Evaluate the quality of growing agricultural commodities. Apply chemicals to plants as necessary. Maintain records. Set-up, maintain and repair irrigation systems. Maintain inventory and order materials as needed. Move, load and unload plants, shrubs and trees. Operate small tractors. Talk to customers and provide information regarding products. Sell and deliver plants to customers. General facility maintenance, cleaning and upkeep.
