Job Duties:
General maintenance & upkeep of nursery growing areas; regulate greenhouse conditions and indoor/outdoor irrigation systems; move containerized shrubs, plants, and trees; dig, rake, and screen soil filling cold frames and hot beds in preparation for planting; plant/transplant trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials in containers and in the field; apply fertilizer to plant material; pull/hoe weeds; water plants; ball harvested trees; prune/trim trees; tie tree tops; pull customer orders by hand; tag, harvest, load, transport & unload nursery transport wagons & trucks; operate nursery & farm equipment as needed to perform the day to day nursery operations; clean up, maintain grounds, farm improvements; build new fields.
