- Job Duties:
- Prepare pastures. Repair and maintain fencing. Load and unload cattle. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Check on livestock and water accessibility in pastures daily. Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul grain, soybean and foraging crops. Service and repair farming equipment. General farm related duties such as winterizing farming equipment, facility maintenance and shop work. Move cattle from pasturelands back into winter facilities at the end of the farming season.
