Job Duties:

Operating self-propelled combine equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swaths, or winnows crops such as corn, sorghum, wheat; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to harvesting equipment including cutters, blowers, conveyers; performing safety checks on self-propelled equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools for performing harvesting work; transporting harvested crops, equipment, inputs, tools from one field to another or to elevators, silos, or other storage areas by truck or tractor; clean harvesting machines and equipment, and maintain cleanliness in field while harvesting; while a CDL is not required for the job, a worker that drives truck to transport products from fields to farm storage might possess a CDL.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
