Job Duties:

Load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary. Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, or other materials. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant. Cultivate, harvest and store crops, swath, bale, and haul hay from field to storage area. Attach farm implements, such as disk ripper, disc, and air drill to tractor. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluid), and mechanical repair farm machinery. Transport produce to grain elevator, pile grounds or storage area. Monitor and set irrigation for crops. This include pulling ditches, handling gated pipe, and controlling center pivot sprinklers. General daily seasonal farm duties.Farming with: Chickpeas, Corn, Dry Peas, Grain, Hay, Potatoes, Sugar Beets

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
