Job Duties:

The worker will perform various agricultural tasks including operating a self-propelled hay stacker to stack large and medium square bales and round bales, using a tractor with a grain cart to haul grain from the combine to semi-trucks, raking windrows with a tractor for baling, and operating a baler to form hay bales. Responsibilities also include assisting with cattle management by sorting and working cattle for grazing, hauling cattle from pens to pastures using a pickup truck and stock trailer, and repairing fences to secure grazing areas. Additional duties involve preparing fields for planting using farm machinery, sorting seed corn for delivery, performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, and using a riding mower to maintain the appearance of farm properties. All tasks require safe machinery operation, adherence to farm procedures, and flexibility to perform other related duties as needed.
