- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment and trucks in order to plant, spray, harvest and haul small grain, oilseed and soybean crops. Dry grain. Service and repair farm machinery. General farm upkeep duties such as cleaning equipment, facility maintenance and shop work.
