Job Description

- Job Duties:
- Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers, maintaining and operating grain bin loops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment as well as remove after use; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, grain cart, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as cotton, corn, soybeans; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields and sprayer machinery, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas, fields, and farm properties and maintain grounds and landscaping; Maintain daily records; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Obtain parts and supplies; speak and understand English.

- Special Requirements:
- Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
