- Job Duties:
- working in greenhouses, to seed, mow and maintain the tobacco plants until time to set. Harvesting tobacco- setting, chopping, topping, cutting, hauling in, and taking down and stripping burley tobacco. Basic farm maintenance jobs- weed eating, mowing, repairing cattle fences, hauling hay, cleaning up barns or cleaning equipment, may be done to help the workers get the guaranteed hours of their contracts. Lifting up to 60 pounds, climbing, bending, repeated movements are all requirements of this job.
