- Job Duties:
- Calve out calves during the calving season. Medicate, vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses. Prepare pastures. Fix and repair fencing. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Wean all calves during the weaning season. Cut and bale hay. Transport and stack hay. General farm related duties such as winterizing farming equipment, facility maintenance and shop work. Move cattle from pasturelands back into winter facilities at the end of the farming season.
