- Calve out calves during the calving season. Medicate, vaccinate and treat sickness. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures and oversee. Operate farming equipment to plant, harvest and haul grain and hay crops. Cutting and bailing hay. General farm duties such as repairing fencing, facility maintenance and equipment servicing
