- Job Duties:
- The job specifications involves skilled farm labor for the purpose of preparing land, raising sweet potato plants, growing/harvesting sweet potatoes for a commercial farm. Workers will be required to have experience operating John Deere 8R , John Deere 6000R tractors , John Deere 7R tractors, Case tractors, JD Self propelled sprayer, disking, chisel plowing, spraying, rolling rows and forming rows with 8 row equipment. They will also need experience working in sweet potato plant beds growing seedlings for transplant into fields. Full time supervision is provided and all tools are provided. 12 Month experience needed. Workers must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time and work in extreme temperatures.

- Skilled farm labor for purpose of preparing land, raising sweet potato plants, growing/harvesting sweet potatoes. Skills include experience operating JD 8R, JD 6000R tractors, JD 7R tractors, Case tractors, JD Self propelled sprayer, disking, chisel plowing, spraying, rolling rows and forming with 8 row equipment. Greenhouse experience including raising sweet potato plants and plant bed seedlings. Safely operate forklifts to move machinery, implements, parts, and chemicals to and from work areas. Perform basic machine maintenance such as daily inspections, checking fluids, reporting issues, and scheduling repairs with management or maintenance when needed. A single employee may be asked to driver other employees to/from work. A standard (i.e. Class C) drivers license is required for one individual. These duties will account for less than 5% of the person's time.
