Job Duties:

Preparing, maintaining and repairing equipment for field use, this includes creating and maintaining maintenance logs, checking engine fluids daily, lubricating moving parts, testing batteries, calibration, welding, minor repairs, oil changes, checking hitches and tires, washing and inspecting equipment. Inspect, maintain and repair worker housing, operates equipment such as land development equipment and wild rice stompers, haying equipment, and harvesters. Will operate Tractors up to 500 hp, tractor implements, sprayers, and fertilizers buggies. Workers may be asked to work both day and night shifts up to 10 to 12 hours, depending on the type of equipment they will be running. Good safety skills of operating the equipment are mandatory. 3 months experience operating and maintaining 500 hp tractors or greater is required.
