- Prepare fields for planting. Pick rocks and operate tractors to till the soil. Operate farming equipment in order to plant, spray, fertilize, harvest and haul small grain crops. Haul agricultural commodities from storage facilities to local markets utilizing grain trucks. General farm duties such as servicing and repairing equipment, facility maintenance and shop work. Winterize farming equipment at the end of the farming season
