Job Duties:

We farm 6,000 acres of spring wheat, soybeans, corn, silage corn, and hay crops. We also have a cow/calf operation. Employee will assist with cattle by checking cattle and newborns, giving vaccinations, tagging calves and fixing fence. Employee will plant crops, spray chemicals, and put up hay which includes running a mower conditioner, rake and baler. Employee will also operate a semi to haul grain, run a grain cart, and operate a combine. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

Job requires extensive sitting, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
