Job Duties:

Duties to include, but not limited to: Workers may drive and operate farm machinery to assist with grain crops such as corn, wheat, soybeans. Employees will drive farm truck and trailer to haul the harvested grain crops to local storage bins and grain elevators. Employee may operate tractors and pickup trucks. Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment may be required. Must be able to communicate in English. No commercial truck driving is required. Some basic on the job training will be provided. A workday begins and ends at a specific time and location designated by the employer. Workers may not clock in or begin work before or after the designated time. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.

May be required to take random drug (drug free workplace) and / or alcohol tests and criminal background check, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. All testing will occur after employment has started and is not a part of the interview process. Felony convictions that employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living conditions of other workers or other individuals on the farm will result in immediate termination. Failure to comply with request for criminal background check may result in immediate termination of employment. Require 2 months experience. Regular driver's license.
