Job Duties:

Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Drive or operate farm machinery, such as trucks, tractors, or self-propelled harvesters, to transport workers or supplies or to cultivate or harvest fields. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Adjust, repair, service, and maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. Perform incidental repairs. Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles. Additional Requirements: Calumet Manure Management injects liquid manure from dairy lagoons onto the fields of farmers. Must be able to obtain a manure handlers license after hire. You will need to drive tractor in field to move the hose that is attached to a plow tractor. You will sit in tractors at the lagoon and move agitation equipment. Run side by sides throughout the field to check on booster pumps and the umbilical cord hose.

Special Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must have or be able to obtain Certified manure handler license. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
