Job Duties:

Operate large farm equipment and primarily John Deere machinery equipped with Greenstar GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, spraying, moving, storing harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as hay, corn, fruits, vegetables; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities; operate haying equipment for hay production of swathing, raking, baling, stacking and moving from field to storage; assist with supplements and feeding of livestock; erecting and maintaining fencing for livestock; assist with the operation, maintenance of irrigation systems, drip, center pivot, furrow, for watering crops; plant, weed, harvest, pack crops by hand; remove bedding plastic and clean up fields; toss and stack crops; drive farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Workers may be requested, but not required, to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Workers will be expected to comply with all provisions of this Clearance Order and the Company’s work rules, policies and procedures, and to perform any and all assigned tasks in a work-person-like and efficient manner. Failure to do so will subject the worker to the employer’s disciplinary procedures. The employer endeavors to produce a premium product. This is a demanding, competitive business.

Special Requirements:

We require two months of recent and verifiable experience within the past two years for the job duties listed. This position requires a minimum of two months for the employee to get a full understanding of the job and responsibilities. Must be able to understand work & safety instructions in English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace. The employer will be responsible for the arrangement and cost of the Colorado Driver's License Class C, Colorado Special Driver Certificate, and Medical Examiners Certificates (if any/if applicable). The employee will be compensated for all duties performed work-related wise, such as actual drive time, processing paperwork, trips to the gas station, and cleaning the vehicle. They will remain on the clock and be compensated accordingly. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Drug testing is conducted at employer's expense: pre-employment/post hire, upon reasonable suspicion, post-accident and at random or periodically.
