- Job Duties:
- Operate farming equipment in order to plant, fertilize, harvest, deliver and re-plant freshly-grown turf sod at a turf sod farming operation. Plant, fertilize, mow and care for turf sod during the initial growing stages. Stack pallets and tubes for harvesting. Harvest and deliver turf sod to various re-planting locations. Re-plant turf sod on public or private property in a manner that ensures continued growth as the final and most important stage of sod farming. Perform basic farm duties such as servicing equipment, postharvest field clean-up, and general facility upkeep/maintenance.
