Job Duties:
Job Description Operate equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, pesticideapplication, and harvesting of crops such as onions, hops, wheat, corn, pumpkins, alfalfa, carrot seed,squash, and peppers. This will include the following activities performed for majority of the time: · Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, harvesters, and self-propelled sprayers. · Operate application machines such as implements to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. · Operate farm implements that cultivate, mow, lift and harvest onions · Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks,forklifts, or transfer augers. · Transport and perform minor repairs and maintenance on farm equipment · Operate, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles while towing or mechanized equipment. · Ability to independently analyze situations and formulate and implement solutions. · Communicate relevant information to managers, supervisors, and co-workers.

4a) License Requirements Applicator Core Competency License - Issued by the State Department of Agriculture Agricultural Herbicide License - Issued by the State Department of Agriculture Insecticide/Fungicide License Aerial Applicator License - only required for workers operating the unmanned aerial vehicle (agri-drone) for theapplication of pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides 4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 50lbs. 4g) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. 4i) May require workers to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time 4j) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing job duties 4k) There will be repetitive movements while performing job duties
