Job Duties:

***RFI Response*** Corn Dogs: Corn dogs frozen, pre-battered and pre-skewered. Corn Dogs are thawed out. Once thawed out they are placed into the deep fryer. The timer for the deep fryer that is reserved for the corn dogs is pre-set, and when they are in the fryer for the proper amount of time the basket raises to allow for the oil to drain from the corn dogs. They are placed into a chafing dish on the front counter under a heat lamp. When a client orders one or more corn dogs, they are removed from the chafing dish and placed into the proper size serving boat. They are handed to the client who would go to the kiosk to add condiments and pick up any napkins or cutlery required. Nachos with Cheese /Jalapenos: Nacho Chips, Nacho Chip Cheese, Nacho Sliced Jalapenos, Nacho Trays are taken from storage and placed into the preparation area. A #10 can of Nacho Cheese Sause would be opened with a commercial grade can-opener and scooped into the top of a standard double boiler, to heat and maintain the cheese sauce at the proper temperature and consistency. With gloved hands, workers would scoop Chips into the Nacho Tray, scoop out hot cheese sauce with a ladle, sprinkle Sliced Jalapenos on top with gloved hands and hand the food product to client. Fountain Soda. These workers would NOT be serving any alcoholic beverages. For a fountain drink, the worker would take the proper size cup in their hand, use an ice scoop to scoop ice into the cup (unless the patron ordered no ice), place the cup under the nozzle, press the cup against the lever and fill the cup. Take a lid from the lid supply and secure this on the top of the cup. From time to time, the worker would need to restock the cups, lids and ice from the appropriate storage area. If the machine runs out of syrup, the worker would need to locate in the storage area the proper flavor of prepackaged syrup, disconnect the empty syrup container, connect the full syrup container, and then discard the empty container. Cleaning: To clean surfaces such as table or countertops, warm water with dishwashing soap and sponges would be used. To clean floors, broom, dustpan and mop would be used. Trash would be picked up and placed into plastic trash bags. ***Original F.a.2*** Perform variety of attending duties at mobile food concession. Arrange tables and decorations according to instructions. Communicate with customers regarding orders. Accept payment from customers. Serve food, beverages or desserts to customers. Prepare daily food items and cook simple foods and beverages using proper safety precautions and safety measures. Clean & organize eating, service, and kitchen areas. Perform cleaning duties to keep equipment and facilities sanatory.
