- Job Duties:
- Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain hotel/resort in a clean and orderly manner. Clean guest accommodations, conference facilities, halls, and public areas; remove, sort, fold, carry and replace linens; make beds; replenish supplies, arrange guest and meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities; mop, vacuum, shampoo carpets, dust, clean bathrooms, clean/polish mirrors and windows; dispose of refuse. Upon request, delivers items such as fresh linens, towels, detergents and soaps, paper products such as toilet paper and tissues, and lodge supplies such as cookware or flatware to guest rooms. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times 8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $27.03 per hour. Workers are responsible for their own daily transportation to and from the worksite. Employer-offered housing is within walking distance of the main worksite. The main worksite is also accessible by public transportation.
