Job Duties:

As Heavy Truck Drivers, workers may drive a semi-truck, dump truck, or ready-mix truck weighing at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Workers will run and drive loaders, forklifts, and other vehicles or mechanized equipment. Workers will be required to load and unload materials from vehicles or mechanized equipment. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.

Special Requirements:

Requires one month of CDL driving experience with Ready-mix trucks, dump trucks, etc. Must be able to lift to seventy-five (75) lbs. throughout the day. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random. Must have class A commercial driver's license or its foreign/international equivalent. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
