- Job Duties:
- Mow, cut, water, trim and edge lawns; rake/blow leaves; dig holes; pull/chop weeds; prune; plant; haul topsoil; mulch; install sprinkler heads. Must be able to work in cold, wet, hot and humid weather and able to work on feet in bent, stooped or standing positions for long periods of time. The employee will use hand tools such as roundpoint shovels, post hole diggers, and handheld digging spades to dig holes for the purpose of installing landscape plant material. The size of the holes will vary between 4” wide and 3” deep at the smallest to 44” wide and 24” deep at the largest. The holes will be dug in order to install ornamental flowers, ornamental shrubbery, and ornamental trees.
