Job Duties:

Serve food and beverages to patrons in a dining establishment. Clean food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and tableware. Store supplies and goods in appropriate kitchen or storage areas. Arrange and package food items for serving or delivery. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients for cooking. Cut raw or cooked foods as needed for meal preparation. Cook and prepare meals according to recipes or instructions. Monitor microwaves, ovens and dishwashers to ensure proper functioning. Record operational or production member requests and orders as required. Stock serving stations and dining areas with necessary items. Distribute food, beverages, or supplies to patrons or staff. Transport food service items to designated locations. Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and food service areas; dispose of trash appropriately. Communicate relevant information to managers or team members. Assist chefs or caterers with food and drink preparation. Present menus and explain food or beverage options to customers. Prepare hot and cold beverages as needed.
