Job Duties:

***RFI response*** Fertilizer and pesticide handling is performed under close supervision using pre-determined amounts of pre-selected chemicals in the direct manner instructed with pre-determined formulas. This is not an advanced position requiring experience or decision-making abilities. ***Original*** Rake and clean up lawns, remove fallen branches, leaves, and debris to prevent fungal growth. Inspect evergreens for winter burn and lightly prune damaged tips. Obtain soil samples by using hand or mechanical drill, placing soil in container, marking container to send to lab. Mix and apply fertilizers and pesticides; spray shrubs, trees, plants and lawns. All duties performed under the direct supervision of manager.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Work outside in all weather conditions. HOURS AND SCHEDULE MAY FLUCTUATE DUE TO WEATHER OR BUSINESS NEEDS. OVERTIME HOURS WILL VARY. SATURDAY WORK REQUIRED, WHEN NECESSARY. POST-HIRE DRUG TESTING MAY BE CONDUCTED RANDOMLY AT EMPLOYER'S EXPENSE.
