Job Duties:

General Laborers at Woodstone Earth Construction will assist in a variety of laborious tasks on commercial sitework projects that are required to complete the job. Workers will be installing silt fences and silt socks, rolling out geotextile fabrics, raking and shoveling stone, and transporting materials and supplies around the jobsite by hand. Workers will also be flagging traffic, directing on site trucks, raking and shoveling topsoil, and seeding straw mulch by hand. Additionally, workers will be checking and holding grades for operators and operating hand and power tools.

Special Requirements:

Worker needs to be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be able to obtain a New York State Drivers License. Workers will need to have a willingness to listen and follow direction, have the ability to work in a team environment, have basic knowledge of tools and equipment, and have the ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Additionally, workers need to have to be consistently reliable, on time, prepared, and ready to work with a good attitude. The employer may offer more hours than specified, depending on company needs, and other conditions.
