- Job Duties:
- Workers perform landscaping and ground restoration tasks in support of fencing projects. Their primary duties include removing sod or grass, digging holes or trenches (typically 3'x3'x3') by hand, backfilling and compacting soil after fencing is installed, raking and leveling disturbed areas, and restoring ground surfaces using sod, grass seed, and straw to prevent erosion per customer specifications. Workers may also apply topsoil as needed, collect and dispose of debris by hand, and repair damaged areas. All work is performed using manual tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and tampers. They also assist with loading/unloading equipment and ensuring proper tool cleaning and storage. These workers do not install fences. All fence installation is performed by a separate crew. The landscaping crew is solely responsible for preparing the site before fencing and restoring the ground after the fence has been installed.

- Must lift/carry 75 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
