Job Duties:
Eight temporary full-time Ground Person positions available for work beginning March 20, 2026 and continuing through November 20, 2026, with 40 hours work provided weekly, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, at $19.36 or higher hourly, with overtime offered often at $29.04 or higher hourly. No previous training, experience, education required, nor on-the-job training. Ground Person duties include ground-level pruning and trimming; also raking and digging and weeding and planting and watering. Ground Person duties include chipping and applying protective mulches and applying safe fertilizers and performing ground support for climbers and diagnosticians; also collecting and hauling out debris, and loading crew vehicles. Ground Persons observe for any shrub or plant or hedge problems and inform crew leaders. The position is entry-level and non-agricultural. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
