Job Duties:

Duties include sod laying, mowing, trimming/pruning trees, shrubs and plants, installation of plants, trees and shrubbery, watering plants & lawns, plant transplanting, fertilizing, digging, raking, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Workers may gather and remove litter and operate powered equipment and drive company vehicles to customer location. All of the trimming/pruning will take place on the ground. The workers will not perform any pruning or trimming activities above ground level.

Special Requirements:

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 75LBS, REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS, EXTENSIVE PUSHING/PULLING, FREQUENT STOOPING, EXPOSURE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES, 3 MONTHS LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Schedule varies. Overtime available based on need. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
