- Job Duties:
- Under the supervision of the Production Manager, assist coating workers by performing duties requiring less skill. Supply coating painters/applicators with materials, tools, and equipment, such as painting, plastering, or concrete coating buffers, sanders, grinders, scrapers, brushes, and rollers. Assist in preparing surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, grinding, or applying bonding agents. Smooth surfaces using buffers, sanders, grinders, scrapers, brushes, and rollers. Mix coating materials using hand tools or portable mixers. Remove excess coating or material and clean surfaces after application. Take down and set up work areas with tarps, tape, planks, and ladders. Apply protective coverings such as tape or masking to surfaces not to be coated. Cover floors or other surfaces with drop cloths to protect from splattering. Move or position materials and workpieces as directed. Load and unload materials and maintain job site cleanliness and organization. Clean work areas, painting tools, and equipment. Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures on the job site.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in different weather conditions including heat and cold. Must be able to walk and bend. Must be able to perform tasks requiring manual use of the hands, including carrying painting hand tools and materials. Must be able to work in construction environments.
