Job Duties:
The server will be responsible for efficiently and properly performing all service standards, which includes greeting guests warmly and professionally, ideally using guest names when possible. They must have full familiarity with the menu and beverage offerings to effectively assist guests, take orders, answer questions, and offer suggestions on menu selections. The server should communicate with the culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests. Maintaining a clean and organized service area while following all sanitation and safety procedures is essential. They are also required to set tables according to the type of event and service standards, perform all assigned side work duties, including additional tasks as assigned by leadership, and present accurate checks to guests for payment. Additionally, the server must complete all opening and/or closing duties to ensure smooth operation.

Special Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. Must be able to multitask. The worker must have alcohol training certification (TIPS/Cobb County) and Food Handler permit (where applicable). Must have one (1) year of server experience. Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50lbs without assistance. Must be able to work flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The workers must obtain both Cobb County Alcohol Certification and ServeSafe Food Handlers certification within two (2) weeks of their start date. The worker will be responsible for all certification fees. This position qualifies as a tipped occupation under FLSA regulations. A tip credit will be applied in accordance with federal and state wage laws to meet the required offered wage. The employer will ensure that the combination of the base hourly wage and tips received equals or exceeds the offered wage for all hours worked. If at any time the tip credit does not result in total earnings meeting or exceeding the offered wage, the employer will make up the difference. Note: The base hourly rate for this tipped position is $8.00 per hour. Conversational English Required.
