Job Duties:

Duties include sod laying, mowing, trimming/pruning trees, shrubs and plants, bed weeding, installation of plants, trees and shrubbery, watering plants & lawns, plant transplanting, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Workers may gather and remove litter and operate powered equipment and drive company vehicles to customer locations. All the trimming/pruning will take place on the ground. The workers will not perform any pruning or trimming activities above ground level.

Special Requirements:

3 months of landscape experience required. Must be able to lift 50lbs, must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, must be able to operate basic handheld power equipment and appropriate technology. Schedule varies, overtime available a needed In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of sick leave paid may vary depending on the size of the business
