Job Duties:

Perform a variety of tasks and services to include but not limited to lawn maintenance, weed detail (e.g., pull weeds), shrub trimming, and landscape enhancement (e.g., mulch, plant trees and shrubs). Work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Follow the leadership of the Crew Foreman to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. Safely operate outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers. Clean and maintain equipment used to perform lawn maintenance duties. May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 7-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies and must be pre-approved. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary. F.b.8a: Depending on work conditions, the employer may offer workers performing certain tasks during certain periods of the season an opportunity to earn an incentive bonus over and above the guaranteed rate of pay set forth above. If offered, such incentive bonuses will be based on the quantity and quality of work performed and offered to all workers working on the activity(ies) and during the time period(s) when such incentive bonuses are offered. If an incentive bonus is offered, the fact that the bonus is to be offered and the manner in which the bonus will be determined, will be explained to all affected workers before the start of any work period or activity subject to such a bonus. Incentive bonuses are offered at the sole discretion of the employer, and no bonus or opportunity to earn a bonus is promised or guaranteed. F.b.9: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Landscaping Laborers will perform job duties at the following locations: 7535 NE River Rd, Otsego, MN 55330 and 15001 45th St NE, St. Michael, MN 55376 and at multiple worksites within the area of intended employment, including the following counties: Stearns, Wright, Sherburne, Anoka, and Hennepin. May travel to other counties within the area of intended employment of headquarters in St. Michael. F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from 15001 45th St NE, St. Michael, MN 55376 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own. F.d.4: Workers have the option of employer-provided housing for $200 per month, and if elected, employer will deduct costs from worker's paycheck. Workers also have the option of securing their own lodging.
