Job Duties:
Farm and Ranch hands employees must maintain existing native grass and plants, prepare grasses and cultivate hay for cattle ranching, maintain pastures for cattle grazing and properly cultivate, maintain and store hay. Workers will be planting, weeding, plowing and controlling native grasses. Workers will also provide general ranch and farm maintenance and will build fences, clean barns, storage facilities, and farm equipment; maintain vehicles, tractors; hang gates; fill game feeders; trim trees and brush. The Ranch requires mandatory drug testing, a criminal background check, 3 months prior experience with cattle ranching activities, 3 months experience with animal veterinary care, 3 months experience with horseshoeing, 3 months experience with horseback riding, 3 months experience with herding cattle in confined and open spaces, 3 months experience with roping cattle, 3 months experience with cattle corral construction,3 months experience with livestock fence construction,3 months experience with maintenance of vehicles, ranch equipment, and structures (relating to ranching equipment and residential facilities where ranch associates reside), and 3 months experience with training horses.
