Job Duties:

1. Hand harvest Blackberries: Workers will get empty clamshells to fill them and place them in an empty flat. workers will be assigned a row and will only harvest quality blackberries free of defects or rotten berries. once workers fill their all their clamshells they will walk to the nearest receiving station and get credit for the flats picked. workers will repeat this process over and over through out the work day. frequent stooping, excessive walking, pushing and pulling exposed to extreme temperatures. 2. Hand harvest Peaches: workers are to hand harvest only quality and marketable peaches. workers will get a peach basket and fill it full free of defected or rotten peaches. workers will be required to climb a 10 ft ladder. Workers will be required to lift a full basket of peaches while loading them and unloading them on and off the field trailer. 3: Hand harvest strawberries: Workers are to get a 1 us gallon bucket and field pick only riped strawberries. workers are to clean the defected berries off the strawberry plants while picking. Once their buckets are full the workers are to walk to the nearest field trailer and get credit for the full buckets picked. workers are to repeat this process throughout the work the day. 4. Hand harvest Apples: Workers will be assigned a row, 18 ft ladder and a picking sack. workers will carefully place the ladder in between the apple trees to hand harvest the apples. once the picking sack is full they will carefully dump the full sack of apples weighting up to 50lbs into a 20 bushel bin that the worker has to place in between trees. workers are to only pick quality apples free of any defects rotten or bruised. Workers will repeat this process through out the day. 5. General Farm Labor: Workers will be assigned duties on the farm like pulling weeds, pruning, ditch digging, fixing field irrigation to help the farm be productive. workers are required to be able to lift 50 lbs as dirt being moved around rows in a wheelbarrow can weight up to 50 lbs.
