Job Duties:

Perform manual labor to plant, cultivate, and harvest peppers, watermelons, tomatoes, cantaloupes, cabbage, squash, red potatoes, peas, butter beans, okra, eggplants, cucumbers and tomatillos by hand or machine.

Special Requirements:

Workers are expected to possess the skills to work in the production of crops or agricultural commodities listed in this job order. The introductory period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of the job and to familiarize workers with job specifications and to demonstrate proper methods and crop or commodity specific issues. Continuously walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in extremely hot, cold, and/or wet weather. No smoking or tobacco products allowed on the property at any time. Employer is a drug free workplace. Drug testing is conducted post hire at the employers expense and is not part of the interview process.
