Job Duties:

Operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machine to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops. Adjusts speed of cutter, blower, conveyors and height of cutting head using hand controls and tools. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drives heavy truck to transport grain to elevator or storage area. Drives transporter truck to haul harvesting machine between work sites. Drives pick-up truck to pull bunkhouses and header trailers between work sites. Services machinery and makes in field repairs. Must produce and furnish to employer a current MVR showing an acceptable driving record. A minimum of three (3) months of experience required. Basic literacy and basic arithmetic also required.

Special Requirements:

Must have appropriate driver's license with air brake endorsement if available in state, to permit driving of grain and transport trucks. Must produce and furnish to employer current "driver's abstract" showing an acceptable driving record. A minimum of (3) months experience required. Basic literacy and arithmetic needed. A post hiring drug and alcohol test due to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing requirements. Employer pays for testing. There is also a lifting requirement of 60Ibs Maximum.
